About the position
A well-established public entity is seeking to appoint a Temp Legal & Compliance Services Practitioner for a 6 Months Contract
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:
- LLB degree.
- Minimum 5-8 years post-admission experience.
- Admission as an attorney or advocate of the High Court (admitted legal practitioner).Compliance qualification and at least 5 years’ experience in compliance management.
- Experience in drafting and vetting a variety of complex agreements.
- Advanced knowledge of SCM legislation, policies, and processes applicable in the public sector or entity.
- Positive attitude.
- Innovative thinking skills.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardised situations.
- Knowledge of legal platforms.
- Compliance Management will be an added advantage.
