About the position

Role Purpose
To sell and place the company's liquor products with bottle stores, restaurants, bars, and hospitality venues via outbound calls, driving listings, repeat orders, and brand presence.
In plain English: pick up the phone, close deals, and keep stock moving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound sales calls to bottle stores, bars, restaurants, and hospitality buyers
  • Pitch the product range clearly and confidently
  • Secure new product listings and trial orders
  • Upsell and manage repeat orders with existing customers
  • Build and maintain a call list / sales pipeline
  • Capture order details accurately and hand over to operations/logistics
  • Handle basic objections around pricing, stock, and brand awareness
  • Always Be Closing

  • Wildebeest Brandewyn (and variants)
  • Bobbejaan Herbal Liqueur
  • Mamba Tequila
  • Extended and Future liquor products as the portfolio expands

Target Customers

  • Independent and chain bottle stores
  • Bars, Pubs, and Restaurants
  • Hospitality groups and small chains

Required Skills & Traits

  • Confident and clear phone manner
  • Comfortable selling alcohol brands (industry experience is a bonus, not a must)
  • Persuasive, resilient, and not afraid of rejection
  • Organised, can track calls, leads, and follow-ups
  • Results-driven mindset (orders > excuses)

Experience & Requirements

  • Prior sales or telesales experience preferred
  • Understanding of the liquor or hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, additional languages is a bonus
  • Basic computer literacy (CRM or order capture systems a plus)
