Telephone Sales Consultant at EcoDirect

About the position

EcoDirect, Inc. is expanding its remote team and seeking an experienced Phone Sales Consultant to support our U.S. operations. You will be the voice of our solar and battery storage solutions- taking inbound calls and making outbound calls, engaging prospects, and closing sales. We will provide?comprehensive training in solar and battery technology as well as product-specific selling strategies.

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated success in phone-based sales, with strong closing skills and a self-driven, goal-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls, Promptly and professionally respond to incoming calls from U.S. customers requesting quotes or product information.
• Make outbound calls to qualify leads, follow up on lead inquiries, and generate business from existing customers. No cold calling required. aligned with U.S. Eastern time zone hours.
• Present solar & battery storage products, answer technical queries, and drive purchase decisions.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and customer outreach.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity records and update opportunity progress.
• Collaborate with team, share best practices, and align with broader company goals and compliance standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of phone-based sales experience, preferably in technical or consultative roles.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent English verbal communication skills, strong listening and persuasion abilities.
• Comfortable working a U.S. 9am - 5pm EST shift (4:00?pm to 12:00?am (midnight) SAST).
• Willingness to learn and master solar/battery product knowledge (training provided).
• Reliable connectivity, strong remote work discipline.
