About the position
Our leading client in the Telecommunications industry is seeking a Technology Governance Specialist The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technology services are effectively governed, compliant with established standards, and aligned with organizational policies and governance frameworks. This role is a combination between technology, audit, risk and compliance.
Location: Western Cape, Cape Town
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, Assurance, or Internal Audit functions.
- Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable, including COBIT, ITIL, CISA, CRISC, and/or ISO 27001 / ISO 20000-1 certifications.
- Proven track record of successfully conducting assurance reviews and implementing IT control frameworks within complex, cross-functional environments.
