About the position
We are looking for two highly capable Techno-Functional Application Support Executives to join a fast-paced Business & Commercial Banking environment. This role is ideal for professionals who can seamlessly bridge the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring critical digital banking platforms remain stable, secure, and high-performing.
You will play a key role in supporting, troubleshooting, and optimising digital banking applications, working across modern front-end channels, robust backend systems, and cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end application support across digital banking platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across frontend, backend, and API layers
- Monitor system health using observability and logging tools, proactively identifying issues before impact
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex technical and functional issues
- Support API integrations and ensure adherence to API-first architecture principles
- Analyse logs, metrics, and traces to perform root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions
- Ensure seamless functioning of authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Continuously improve support processes, documentation, and system reliability
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
RequirementsTechnical Expertise
- Strong experience supporting modern digital platforms across:
- Mobile: Android & iOS
- Web: Angular
- Solid backend understanding of Java (Spring Boot) applications
- Hands-on experience working with cloud-native applications on AWS
- Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as:
- ELK / Elasticsearch (MELK stack)
- Splunk
- AppDynamics
- Strong understanding of:
- API-first architecture & integrations
- Authentication & Authorization frameworks (OAuth, SSO, etc.)
- Ability to trace issues across distributed systems and microservices architectures
Techno-Functional Capability
- Strong understanding of end-to-end digital channel ecosystems
- Ability to operate across both business and technical contexts
- Skilled in translating business issues into technical solutions
Domain Experience
- Proven experience within Business / Commercial Banking environments
- Strong understanding of banking systems, transactions, and digital channels
