About the position
An established and fast-paced automotive workshop in Durban, KwaZulu – Natal is expanding and looking to hire experienced professionals for the following roles:
Workshop Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations and staff.
- Ensure workflow efficiency and quality control.
- Maintain strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Support strategic business growth alongside ownership.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership and management experience in a workshop environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the aftermarket industry preferred.
Service Advisor
Responsibilities:
- Respond to online leads and manage customer bookings.
- Provide accurate quotes and manage costing.
- Liaise between clients and workshop team.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a service advisor.
- Basic technical understanding of vehicle systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly.
Qualified Automotive Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and general services.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety and service standards.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
- Trade-tested or qualified technician.
- Experience working on a range of vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and follow job cards accurately.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused.
