We're seeking a Technical /Proposal Writer to create clear, engaging documentation and compelling bid responses. This role blends technical writing with proposal development, requiring precision, creativity, and strong collaboration skill

Our client is looking to employ a Technical / Proposal Writer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop user-friendly technical documentation (guides, manuals, training materials)
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, accessible content
  • Write and support bid and proposal submissions (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs)
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all documents
  • Maintain and improve documentation and proposal libraries
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric / Grade 12 is essential
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Civil Engineering) or equivalent technical experience
3 years Technical Writer / Proposal Writer/ similar experience
Experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Canva and other documentation tools
Proven ability to simplify technical concepts for various audiences.
Experience producing documentation for both hardware and software (including SaaS products)
