Role Overview
The company is looking for a technically minded Sales Specialist to drive new business and grow existing accounts. This role focuses on understanding client production processes, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering practical, solution-based improvements.
Requirements
Minimum
- Experience in industrial or technical sales
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or wood materials
- Proven ability to generate business, close deals, and manage clients
Preferred
- Experience in furniture, woodworking machinery, footwear, or related sectors
- Exposure to capital equipment or consultative selling

Additional Requirements

Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new opportunities in manufacturing sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Technical Solution Selling
- Assess production processes and recommend improvements
- Advise on machinery, materials, and workflows
- Provide technical guidance on wood products and applications
Client Engagement
- Conduct regular on-site visits to factories and workshops
- Present solutions and prepare quotations/proposals
- Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline
Market Insight & Collaboration
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new technologies
- Work with internal teams to ensure accurate solutions and delivery
- Provide market and customer feedback to management
