Technical Sales Representative - Pumps Mechanical Seals Gaskets (Sasolburg)

About the position

About the Role:
The role involves developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing technical support to ensure our products meet client needs. You'll combine technical expertise with a solutions-driven sales approach to deliver value across key industrial sectors.

Duties:
The Technical Sales Representative will report to the Division Manager, and will be responsible for:

• Calling on clients within the Sasolburg and surrounding areas
• Providing Technical sales and product recommendations to customers
• Achieving sales targets set for the area
• Identify and grow key accounts
• Preparation of quotations
• Manage sales contribution and increase turnover
• Market intelligence and research
• Customer Liaison
• Promoting products in and around the area of responsibility
• Identify and grow potential new key accounts and drive new business ventures
• Manage current key accounts effectively
• Sustain customer relations and provide clear direction
• Any other tasks specified in pursuance of the Company's objectives

Qualifications, Experience & Other Qualities:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant Sales/Technical qualification/ Pump or Mechanical seal experience
• 5-10 years technical experience with technical sales
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
• Good communication in English/Afrikaans
• Friendly manner, well-groomed and presentable
• Must be able to work overtime and be on standby

***Salary - Basic salary is highly negotiable + Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Car Allowance + Cell phone (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
