About the position

Technical Sales Representative - Laboratory Equipment
Area: Gauteng
Remuneration: Negotiable around R22k plus travel allowance, fuel allowance, laptop, data, cell phone and commission
Overview: To assist clients by training them on newly installed equipment and to assist the Sales Manager by calling on clients and assist with tenders, quotes, order processing and invoicing as required.

Duties:

• Train clients on newly installed equipment
• Client support at the client office
• Telephonic client support
• Calling on new and existing clients
• Preparing of tenders and quotes
• Attend to telephone calls, email requests, enquiries and provide general information.
• Maintaining supplier electronic files correctly
• Maintain and ensure efficient documentation of all correspondence and documents.
• Ensuring that no stock is moved without relevant paperwork

Qualifications and requirements:

• Life Science qualification
• At least 2 years laboratory experience combined with sales experience,
• Tenders & Quotation experience required,
• Work remote therefore own home office required,
• Prepared to travel extensively,
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid passport
• Own reliable transport
• Ability to prioritise work.
