A leading supplier based in Edenvale requires a Technical Sales Representative with 4-5 years external sales experience to manage key accounts and develop new business.
Matric, own transport and valid drivers license is essential
Individuals who live on the East Rand will have an advantage
Proven track record in external sales – open to all other industries
Self motivated and target driven individual
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
External Sales Representative specializing in self-adhesive labels, will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our client base
Primary responsibilities will include nurturing and growing existing client relationships by increasing their spend on our products and services
Additionally, will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within assigned territory
This role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Understand client needs, preferences, and goals to provide tailored solutions
Regularly communicate with clients to address any concerns or inquiries
Increase Client Spend
Analyse client accounts and identify opportunities to increase their spend
Negotiate and finalize contracts or agreements to secure additional sales
New Business Development:
Identify potential new clients and market segments within your territory
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competition
Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities
Product Knowledge:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and competitors' offerings
Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the company's CRM system.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
Targets and Goals:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies for achieving sales goals
Customer Support:
Provide exceptional customer support, including resolving issues and ensuring timely deliveries
Travel:
Travel within your assigned territory to meet with clients and prospects
