About the position
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OR RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER
- Maintain, service and grow Key branch house accounts
- Ownership and pride into offering the customer the best experience at the branch with regards to branding, service, and tidiness
- Rep allocations and area split to achieve premium customer experience
- Resolve customer queries pertaining to orders, statements and general service delivered to the customers
- Ensure we offer the customer high level of expertise, service, and technical assistance, including coach visits and top customer visits yourself and include Principles and Product managers/Business Development leaders where required
- Mapping of territory and ensure we offer the full portfolio to the customer base by surveying potential customers
- Key visits to customer and branch declining and increasing customers
- Strong negotiation skills and key discussions pertaining, projects, volumes, pricing and closing of these deals and applicable to tenders
FINANCE
- Budget and target allocations
- Daily double check on low margin sales
- Development and Implementation for the branch to achieve set targets by developing and implementing strategic business plans
- Review of the monthly financial report and calculations to determine future profitability
- Authorize: Quotes, Credit Notes according to limits of authority
- Ensure tasks like daily cash up, banking and petty cash balances are correct and take full accountability for any losses
OPERATIONS
- Develop task and WIG's leadership boards and track effectiveness in accordance with company WIG's (wildly important goals)
- Branch and staff are always neat and well-groomed and well presented, including vehicles and buildings
- Effectively report on the provided dashboard's timeously and accurately
- Ensure adherence and application of company policies and procedures
- Ensure that the branch operations are run cost effective and workload efficiency is maximized.
- Ensure the safety of personnel, customers and safeguarding of stock, intellectual property and other company assets are not neglected
- Fully accountable for ISO requirements within the branch together with timeous submission and check sheets
- Implement Weekly branch meetings (Operations and Sales)
- Manage stock levels and ability to develop strategic stock planning, forecasting, consignment warehouse management and take ownership and accountability for all stock variations
- Develop competitive analysis strategies to grow the branch revenue in conjunction with Product managers and business development and measure the progress of achieving the goals
PEOPLE
- Active management of branch staff and their performance and utilization of CRM, ERP, training, and other systems
- Building and motivate a successful team.
- CRM management, including reviews, target creation and active management.
- Upskill and training of all functions within the branch, on the job training development and product training co-ordination.
