You are an experienced Technical Sales Representative responsible for hunting new business, expanding the client base and growing the business within the food, beverage and packaging sector. You have a solid background in external sales within the technical sector.
You will be responsible for identifying new clients and business opportunities within the food, beverage and packaging sector. You will be arranging meetings with potential clients and presenting tailored solutions. You will conduct daily client visits to assess stock levels, providing solutions and resolving issues. You will be conducting thorough market analyses to stay ahead of competitors in terms of markets, product ranges and pricing. You will be maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients, developing specific sales forecasts and achieving the monthly and annual sales targets.
You will be traveling extensively between the various customers that you will be responsible for in the Western Cape. You will be working remotely from your home office in Cape Town. The company will provide you with the necessary equipment, including a laptop, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a cellphone.
You have at least 2 years of proven experience in external sales within a technical field. You have a valid driver's license. Being technically minded and having knowledge of conveyors or automation solutions is highly advantageous. If you have an existing client base within the food, beverage, and packaging sector, that's a valuable asset.
You will receive a market related salary package including commission when targets are achieved.
