About the position
Our client, a well-established Chemical Manufacturing company based in Boksburg, is looking to fill the position of Technical Sales Representative (2 year fixed term contract).
Key Responsibilities:
- To sell a range of plastics / PVC additives to ensure continuous growth in existing markets and to ensure expansion into new markets.
- Calling on customers.
- Extensive cold calling.
- Developing new business.
- Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs.
- Good product knowledge and good communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Appropriate Sales/ Marketing diploma / degree
- A chemistry qualification will be an advantage
- 5-year technical sales experience in the plastics environment
- Result - Oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with strong technical selling ability and a proven track record
- Computer literate i.e., MS office/computer (Word, Excel, Syspro etc)
- Valid driver's license is essential
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
