A fast-growing energy-solutions division within an established South African group is looking for a commercially sharp Technical Sales & Client Success Manager to take its energy management offering to a wider market.

The solutions include intelligent energy management, solar and battery optimisation, real-time monitoring, cloud reporting, load control and demand-response capabilities—helping customers reduce costs and gain more control over their energy use.
Success in your first six months means new clients, stronger market reach, and a credible pipeline in the estate and broader C&I space.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and marketing initiatives for energy-management solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with estate managers, developers, facilities teams and decision-makers.
- Present, demonstrate and explain technical solutions in practical commercial terms.
- Develop proposals, quotations and follow-ups; work towards sales targets.
- Grow existing accounts through upgrades, monitoring, cloud services and additional solutions.
- Feed client and market insights back to product and technical teams.
Requirements
- 3–7 years’ experience in technical sales, B2B solution sales, energy, solar or related sectors.
- A proven record of launching or growing new products and converting opportunities into revenue.
- Established Gauteng estate, property, facilities or commercial-sector contacts would be a major advantage.
- Comfortable discussing Solar, PV, batteries, inverters, energy usage and cost-saving concepts.
Education
- Relevant sales, business, technical or energy-related qualification advantageous.
Soft Skills
- Confident, proactive and personable.
- Strong presenter and relationship builder.
- Able to simplify technical concepts without making them sound like a physics exam.
- Independent, commercially driven and solutions focused.
Remuneration
- R35-40k p/m CTC + Commission + Travel Allowance
- The final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
