About The Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to market, industry-leading decking, cladding and solution-based services, to the specifications (Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Designer etc.) and building industries. (Construction Companies, Developers, Contractors etc.)
This position is focused on developing new customer bases and markets. The ideal candidate is a team player with great communication skills, who is experienced in solutions-based sales and is capable of working through technical challenges, providing various solution options, and incorporating valuable knowledge and assistance throughout a project. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that provides integrated
services to meet our clients' needs, nationally regionally and internationally.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Market the company's products, services, and solutions to prospective and existing clients in the property development, architectural, project management and engineering sectors.
- Be comfortable dealing with clients at a senior level (architects, QS, management, and director level).
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and full quotations explaining products or services to prospective customers.
- Providing basic draughting / technical drawing and the ability to read and understand architectural drawings is essential
- Liaise with customers and technical consulting teams to assess needs and to determine requirements and provide best in practice solutions with regards to our products
- Communicating new product developments to existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct research to identify potential new markets and customers.
- Managing the sales function from start to finish, including all processes, communication, and documentation.
- Assist with the development of marketing and strategies.
- Be self-motivated to achieve sales targets, gross profit parameter, and assist collectively with to ensure the whole team achieves their goals
Education and Experience:
- Grade 12
- Driver's License and own vehicle
- Draughting / Technical drawing Essential
- 2-3 Years' experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Proven sales track record
- Prior experience in the Decking, Flooring and Construction / Building Industries is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English an advantage would be Afrikaans.
- Good communication and negotiation skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to build relationships and maintain customer relationships.
- Good time management and planning skills
- Team player and willingness to learn and improve.

***Salary - R30,000.00 + Commission + Fuel Card + Cell phone Contribution + Basic Vehicle Maintenance (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
