Technical Sales Engineer

About the position

An experienced Test and Measurement Sales Engineer required for a very well established company in Sandton. RF knowledge and sales experience advantageous. This position would suit a go getter who is target driven.

Responsibilities:

• Sell Test and Measurement Equipment including high-level Radio Frequency (RF) communications equipment and recorder solutions within a defined geographical area
• Utilise company agencies effectively as solutions for clients
• Collaborate with the sales support group to ensure efficient and effective customer service
• Work with management to prepare the annual budgets for designated areas
• Interact with all principals when required, maintaining strong and positive relationships
• Build solid relationships with clients
• Provide monthly forecasts to keep management informed about sales projections

Requirements

• B Tech or National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
• Minimum of 4 years' sales experience in Test and Measurement, Radio Frequency equipment advantageous
• Field sales experience with the ability to work alone, self-motivated and target driven
• Basic PC literacy MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Clean drivers license and own reliable vehicle

Training provided. Open ended commission (based on sales margin) on top of basic and benefits and car and fuel allowance.
