Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Process Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in process engineering, with strong exposure to Data Competency, Compliance, and Risk within the banking industry. You will be responsible for analysing, optimizing, and enhancing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse, design, and optimize business processes to meet regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data governance and data management principles are integrated into process workflows, focusing on data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Lead risk assessments and identify potential process risks, providing mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Work closely with the IT and Data teams to ensure technical solutions support process enhancements and risk management.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and report on process performance, utilizing data-driven insights to recommend improvements and ensure continuous optimization.
- Ensure that process design and execution comply with relevant banking regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members and cross-functional teams.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering or a related role, with a strong focus on banking industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in Data Competency, Compliance, and Risk Management.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in process mapping and business process modelling tools such as BPMN, Visio, or similar.
- Experience in process automation and data management frameworks.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with banking compliance tools and risk management frameworks.
- Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA), data analytics, or business intelligence
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Process Management is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
