The Role: Technical Lead
As the Technical Lead, you'll own the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of projects from concept to completion. This senior, hands-on leadership role guides a multidisciplinary team across front-end, back-end, and DevOps domains. You'll play a key role in shaping the evolution of the company's technology stack, integrating emerging tools such as blockchain and AI, and ensuring that all solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary development team.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions using [URL Removed] React, Node.js, and Laravel.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle and ensure technical excellence at every stage.
- Translate business and client requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Drive adherence to coding standards, documentation, and version control best practices.
- Implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, performance optimisation, and security.
- Conduct architecture reviews and evaluate emerging technologies for potential adoption.
- Manage technical delivery schedules, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
- Lead technical recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing skills development initiatives.
About You
- 8 to 10 years of professional development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in delivering enterprise-level web or mobile applications.
- Strong technical background across PHP, Laravel, Node.js (TypeScript), React, and [URL Removed]
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of performance tuning, application security, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passionate about mentorship, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Advantageous: exposure to blockchain, Web3, or Rust; AWS certification.
