You're a detail-driven problem solver who thrives on improving systems and streamlining operations. You're equally at home navigating complex fund structures and writing clean, efficient code. You enjoy working independently but shine when collaborating across teams. Analytical, organised, and solution-oriented, you take pride in delivering high-quality outputs and simplifying the complex.
In this hybrid role, you'll split your time between traditional fund accounting (30%) and technical automation (70%). You'll be responsible for preparing NAVs, reconciling cash and positions, and validating pricing and allocations. At the same time, you'll be developing scripts and applications to automate reporting, build dashboards, and integrate data sources to improve efficiency and accuracy. You'll collaborate across operations, trading, and risk teams, translating business needs into technical solutions and helping to implement new systems and re-engineered processes.
You'll join a dynamic financial services firm specialising in alternative investments. Known for their innovative and data-driven approach, the team operates at the intersection of finance and technology, committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. With a strong collaborative culture and a focus on delivering measurable results, they offer a stimulating environment where your ideas and technical expertise will be valued.
You bring 3-7+ years of fund accounting experience with a strong grasp of NAV production and investment products like derivatives. You're proficient in at least one programming language (Python, R, or SQL) and have experience building automation tools, data pipelines, or APIs. You're familiar with relational databases, BI tools like Power BI, and cloud-based systems. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or similar is preferred, along with proven success deploying automation in live environments.
A unique opportunity to blend finance and tech in a role designed for impact. You'll work in a forward-thinking environment with exposure to cutting-edge systems and cross-functional projects, all while enjoying a competitive, market-related salary. You'll also have the potential opportunity to relocate to Cayman Islands.
