JOB PURPOSE
EXPERIENCE
- Diploma Buying or similar Supply chain qualification
- 10 years experience as a Technical Buyer
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes
- Full understanding of the whole supply chain
- Financial background
- Basic understanding of legal agreements
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)
- Identify and establish preferred relevant suppliers list
- Negotiate costing
- Draw up the physical SLA
- Adherence to Safety and relevant market/legislative certification
- Manage relevant packaging and production material
- Reconciliation of MRP execution to operational production stragegy
