About our client:
Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative, sustainable, inclusive culture and performance.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and IT, facilitating workshops and interviews to translate business and legal requirements into functional specifications for Appian solutions.
- Design and implement Appian workflows and process models, ensuring critical elements like investment deal checklists and legal compliance requirements are embedded in the system.
- Drive the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure solutions comply with IT governance and financial services regulations, including the implementation of technical controls and supporting legal checklist validation.
- Provide comprehensive training, documentation, and user support to ensure the successful adoption of new Appian solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers, including overseeing Appian delivery partners.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Law, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 7 years of business analysis experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Appian solutions.
- Deep knowledge of investment processes within the private equity, private credit, and asset management industries.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for investment deals, including compliance checklists and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strong focus on detail and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in business process modeling and familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal, business, and technical teams.
