About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Assistant with 1 to 2 years of experience in solar system design, power electronics, DC power systems, and battery technologies and 1 to 2 years solar designed product knowledge The ideal candidate will assist in the design, testing, and implementation of solar energy solutions, support technical documentation, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable system performance. A foundational understanding of renewable energy technologies and hands-on experience with solar products and components is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of solar PV systems including DC/AC calculations.
- Support product selection and technical specification preparation.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of power electronics and battery systems.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and installation manuals.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams for system implementation and updates.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in solar and energy storage solutions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in solar energy design, battery storage, or power electronics.
- Familiarity with solar software tools (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, or Helioscope) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and energy codes.
