Our client is currently seeking an experienced and driven Technical Advisor to join our growing team in Middelburg. Mpumalanga.
This role is ideal for a passionate agricultural professional with 8+ years' experience who enjoys working directly with farmers, building long-term relationships, and providing practical solutions that improve livestock performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
- Develop and expand a network of livestock producers within the region.
- Provide technical advice on animal health, nutrition, and feed solutions.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Drive sales growth through consultative selling and technical support.
- Conduct farm visits and provide practical, results-driven recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and best practices within the livestock sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and support.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in animal health, animal nutrition, feed sales, or a related agricultural environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of animal feeds, nutrition, and animal health products.
- Proven sales and marketing ability within the agricultural sector.
- Experience working directly with livestock farmers and agricultural producers.
- Ability to work independently and manage a designated territory effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
