About the position
We’re looking for an experienced Technical System Integration Lead to join a leading fintech organisation in Johannesburg.
This is a senior technical leadership role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving complex integration challenges and leading teams across a large enterprise technology environment.
You’ll take ownership of the Finance integration landscape, working across Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Microsoft/.NET and enterprise APIs, while coordinating integration delivery across multiple technology teams.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead the technical design, delivery and ongoing support of enterprise integrations
- Provide technical leadership across Oracle Fusion, OIC, .NET/C#, APIs, SQL and integration services
- Lead and mentor an integration development team, including technical direction, code reviews and delivery planning
- Own integration standards covering security, monitoring, error handling, logging, resilience and supportability
- Coordinate dependencies across Finance, data, technology and downstream application teams
- Work closely with external technology and consulting partners, providing technical oversight and challenge where required
- Drive solution design, data flows, mappings and integration architecture across multiple systems
- Ensure integrations are well governed, documented, monitored and operationally resilient
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, releases and production issues through to resolution
- Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, data and business teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
- 10+ years of technology experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Lead, Solution Lead or Senior Engineering role
- Strong enterprise integration experience across APIs, messaging and/or file-based integrations
- Strong experience with Microsoft/.NET/C# and SQL
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or comparable large-scale ERP/SaaS integration environments
- Proven experience leading technical teams and taking ownership of complex integration environments
- Experience managing multiple technology dependencies and teams within a large programme
- Strong SDLC, source control, CI/CD and deployment experience
- Experience working with system integrators, consulting partners or managed service providers
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Advantageous:
Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, OIC, BICC, REST/SOAP, UCM, FBDI, Azure integration services, finance/banking integrations, Oracle EDM or similar finance data platforms.
