Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production activities, including machine start-up, staff allocation, and production line efficiency
- Monitor production performance, record hourly output, and address underperformance with operators and planning team
- Ensure timely reporting of machine breakdowns, production issues, and workflow updates
- Manage attendance registers, leave submissions, and daily documentation such as delivery notes and requisitions
- Maintain housekeeping standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Enforce discipline on the production floor, including punctuality, workforce control, and adherence to company policies
- Collaborate with planning, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Oversee quality control processes, identify defects, and ensure corrective actions are taken
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Skills:
- Working knowledge of factory machinery and processes
- Experience in production coordination and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
