Salary & Benefits

• Base Salary:R50,000?00 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

  Experience:
• Minimum 10 years in a tax-related role, with a proven track record.
• Education:
• B.Com with a specialization in Tax, or
• Advanced Certificate in Tax, or
• HDip in Tax Qualification.
• Must be a tax practitioner or able to register as one [URL Removed] Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of Tax Consultants and a Tax Administrator.
• Ensure all departmental targets and SARS deadlines are met.
• Prepare and review tax calculations, returns, and provisional returns (IRP6) for all entities, including individuals.
• Issue IRP5/IT3 certificates and complete EMP501 reconciliations.
• Handle tax audits, SARS queries, objections, and high-level disputes, including legal processes.
• Provide tax advice, opinions, and consultations to clients.
• Manage tax emigration matters, foreign tax and double-taxation issues, and trust tax (IT3T).
• Submit dividend tax, STT, customs applications, and manage VAT/PAYE audits and objections.
• Oversee e-filing functions and administration, ensuring compliance with all statutory registrations.
• Utilize tax software (Greatsoft, Easyfile) and advanced Excel skills.
