Our client, a reputable firm in the financial services sector, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time role requires an organized individual with a solid background in tax calculations, submissions, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients regarding tax deadlines, certificates, and documentation.
- Assist with provisional tax calculations and request figures from clients when required.
- Complete and submit provisional and income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Manage efficient tax planning strategies for clients.
- Assist with SARS audits, ensuring timely responses to queries.
- Facilitate tax clearance certificates and ensure SARS calculations are accurate.
- Support the Tax Administrator by uploading documents, submitting tax returns, and opening new tax files.
- Track client base to ensure all deadlines are met and billing is processed accordingly.
Key Requirements:
- Matric with Maths and/or Accounting.
- Tertiary education with Taxation focus
- 5+ years of experience in tax calculations and completing income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, SARS e-Filing, and GreatSoft.
Remuneration:
R25,000 – R30,000 CTC per month (depending on experience).
