About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Disputes Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an admitted attorney with strong expertise in handling SARS-related tax disputes, providing client advisory services, and delivering exceptional drafting and negotiation support. This role is office-based and requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

• Represent and advise clients on SARS tax disputes and related matters.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and dispute submissions with precision.
• Provide comprehensive client advisory services on tax legislation and dispute resolution.
• Negotiate effectively with SARS and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Minimum Requirements

• Admitted Attorney.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax disputes.
• Proven track record of handling SARS disputes and tax litigation matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant tax legislation.
• Extensive experience in client engagement and advisory services.
