About the position
Our Client is looking for a Tax Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg.
This is a role that will transition into a Senior Tax Associate role.
Please note: Only Applicants with an academic record of 70% or higher will be shortlisted for the role.
Qualification
- Must have a completed degree or higher
- Must be enthusiastic about the TAX and VAT space
- Mathematics is a non-negotiable.
- Excel knowledge is a non-negotiable.
The Role:
- Provide VAT support for the client's global operations
- VAT filings
- VAT returns and reports
- VAT compliance checks for Clients
- Communicate with Clients and Authorities
- Audit preparations
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Detailed spec will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
