About the position
DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:
Join a boutique tax advisory firm as a Tax Compliance Officer in Cape Town. The role plays a key role in ensuring client tax compliance while enjoying flexibility, growth and a supportive team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field
- 5 - 7 years' experience in tax compliance
- In-depth knowledge of SARS procedures and tax legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and submit Individual and Provisional Tax calculations
- Manage SARS audits, disputes, and complaint processes
- Ensure full compliance with SARS and tax laws for clients
- Maintain accurate client records and correspondence
- Respond to and manage client tax queries professionally
- Attend SARS appointments when necessary
- Provide additional tax compliance services as needed
