About the position

Working for an established firm of Accountants in Sunninghill

Requirements:

• Studying a tax related degree
• Minimum 1 year experience working in the tax department of an accounting firm
• Experience with SARS liaison on various tax matters
• Experience in Taxware, e-filing, Easyfile and Excelwould be advantageous

Duties:

• To ensure correct and accurate completion of Income Tax returns as required by the SA Income Tax system
• Correspond with SARS consultants
• VAT, Income Tax, PAYE registrations and de-registrations
• ITR12's - salary earners
• ITR12T's - Trusts (big part of the job)
• EMP501 reconciliations
• Tax clearance pins
• Completing income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Handling objections
• Client liaison

Be willing to learn rom Senior Tax Consultants and assist them with day to day admin
