Tasting Room Coordinator

About the position

An exciting opportunity awaits in the scenic town of Grabouw, where the rolling vineyards meet hospitality. We are seeking a passionate and organized Tasting Room Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our wine estate.

Location: Grabouw, Western Cape
Working Hours:

• Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Closed on Sundays and Mondays

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create memorable guest experiences through guided tastings and exceptional customer service
• Oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring smooth service flow
• Arrange, set up and conduct tastings
• Stock control on wines, coffees, etc. the front of house stuff.
• Use in-house system - Commerce7 for POS and CRM
• Social media/ marketing

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role/industry
• Own transport
• Driver's license (doing the odd deliveries in our Valley)
• Good presentation, good language (English proficient, additional languages a plus)
• Must be able to work independently and be reliable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine passion for wine and hospitality
• Previous experience in customer service or tasting room management is advantageous
