Talent Specialist

About the position

Great opportunity to join an established Renewable Energy team as a Talent Specialist. 

This role is based in Cape Town.  This is a 2-year contract. 

The ideal candidate would be proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring candidates have a positive experience. You will work closely with the HR team, department heads and hiring managers to identify needs, create job descriptions and source candidates. 

 

Some focus areas of the role include:

• Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews.
• Work closely with hiring managers and HRBP's to understand their recruitment needs and create job descriptions. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards. 
• Implement & manage the assessment centers.
• Continuously update and maintain careers website. 
• Update the various business applicant trackers to ensure latest information and process status is documented and communicated. 
• Continuously review recruitment infrastructure, processes, and systems. 
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. 
• Design & manage the recruitment policy and procedures.
• Manage employee referral program. 
• Manage career days. 

 

Key requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration 
• Min 3 years' experience in recruitment
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices
• Good knowledge of labour legislation
• Extensive experience in recruiting for: 
  • a wide range of multiskilled positions
  • permanent and fixed term contracts
  • Head office and site level 
  • bulk recruitment
