About the position
- Evaluate system performance by testing compatibility of new software, firmware, and programs with existing systems and equipment.
- Assess system expansions or enhancements by analysing workload and capacity across CCTV, Fire, Intruder, BMS, and Access Control technologies.
- Gather data, identify options, and recommend effective technical solutions to improve system efficiency.
- Conduct software testing against established standards and perform necessary modifications.
- Improve existing systems by reviewing specifications, evaluating proposed changes, and implementing approved updates.
- Analyse and test vendor-supplied products and software for compatibility and functionality.
- Prepare hardware for production by establishing connections, configuring settings, and running required commands.
- Provide user training, technical guidance, and support to clients and internal teams-including remote and telephonic assistance.
- Maintain system reliability by testing related components and resolving issues.
- Prepare reports, operating instructions, and documentation for internal and client use.
- Document all technical support activities within the Support Management Software.
- Assist with stock counts and ensure ISO compliance.
- Manage and commission allocated projects, including product QC and on-site work.
- Maintain confidentiality to uphold client trust and compliance standards.
