About the position
Title: Systems Programmer z/OS System Support
Duration: 12 months
The position is hybrid model, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Description:
4+ years’ experience in z hardware and z/OS software
The day-to-day operation of the Mainframe environment. Implementation, configuration and maintenance of z hardware and z/OS software.
The position requires responsibilities that includes Research Development, Installations, Third Party z/OS product installs and Life-cycle management, Upgrades, Storage Management, Network Management, Disaster Recovery as well as other Business Continuity activities.
Interacts with multiple engineering teams as part of the integrated solution the mainframe provides.
Knowledge and experience and important areas of focus: z/OS Operating System and its subsystems HCD TCP/IP SMP/E RMF CICS MQ Installing and configuring Third Party Program Products BMC Control Products Storage Management DFSMS/DFSMShsm
