About the position

Our client, an established IT consulting company in Centurion, is urgently seeking a System Integration Specialist to join their team. The Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting integrations between SAP and PeopleSoft applications, ensuring accurate, secure, and reliable exchange of HR, payroll, finance, procurement, and master data across enterprise systems.

The purpose of the role is to design, develop, implement, monitor, and support integration solutions between SAP, PeopleSoft, and other enterprise applications. This role ensures seamless data flow, system interoperability, data integrity, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop integrations between SAP, PeopleSoft, and third-party applications.
  • Configure and support middleware and integration platforms.
  • Develop APIs, web services, and interface programs.
  • Create and maintain interface mapping specifications and technical documentation.
  • Implement real-time and batch integrations.
  • Design reusable integration components and services.
  • Monitor interface performance and resolve integration failures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems / Software Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience supporting SAP and PeopleSoft environments.
  • Experience with cloud and on-premises integrations.
  • Experience with enterprise middleware.
  • Strong troubleshooting and interface monitoring experience.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments is advantageous.
  • SAP certification is advantageous.
  • PeopleSoft technical certification is advantageous.
  • API or integration platform certifications are beneficial.
