Our client operates within a complex manufacturing environment and relies heavily on SYSPRO to support its production, planning, and operational processes. They are seeking a highly experienced SYSPRO Administrator / Consultant to review, optimize, and enhance their current SYSPRO environment.
This is not a typical system administration role. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving how SYSPRO is structured, configured, and utilised across the business. The role requires someone with strong manufacturing experience and deep practical knowledge of advanced SYSPRO functionality.
This opportunity is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract and requires attendance at the office 2 to 3 days per week, with additional ad hoc consulting support as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the SYSPRO ERP environment.
- Review existing system configurations and recommend improvements.
- Configure and manage complex Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
- Support and enhance Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
- Design, implement, and improve workflow structures within SYSPRO.
- Manage and support commission structures and related system requirements.
- Utilise SQL to extract, analyse, troubleshoot, and improve system data and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve system utilisation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with production, operations, procurement, and finance stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on SYSPRO best practice and implementation standards.
- Deliver ad hoc consulting and project-based support as required.
Experience & Skills | Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a SYSPRO Administrator, SYSPRO Consultant, ERP Specialist, or Implementation Consultant.
- Strong manufacturing industry background is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- BOM Setup and Maintenance
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Workflow Configuration and Optimization
- SQL Querying and Data Analysis
- Commission Structure Configuration
- Solid SYSPRO implementation and enhancement experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical system improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and engaging with teams at all levels of the business.
