Well known medical supplier requires a Surgical Sales Representative for the KZN Branch.
Qualifications & Experience
BSc Degree in Human Movement / Health Sciences
More than 1 years working experience as a medical device sales representative – preference will be given to Hands trauma experience (Upper limb distal extremities).
Proven track record of sales budget achievement in previous roles, is required.
Fluency in English and understanding of Afrikaans
A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required
Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills
Valid code 08 driver’s license & own transport
Able to work after hours
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook
Duties
Develop & understand how to maintain and develop current business and seeking new business
Sales and Marketing of all products in the designated range
Attending theatre cases to learn and develop and to apply this learning in a theatre environment and when ready give technical support in the operating theatre when required
Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
Prepare, review and update surgeon preference lists including quotes
Develop knowledge of how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth
Acquire the skill to lead the development of existing and new accounts
Plan and co-ordinate sales calls and strategies
Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars and theatre staff
Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in annual sales plan for the territory
