Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain and support secure email and messaging solutions across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Manage and troubleshoot networks, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
- Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
- Support security measures, access controls and system configurations.
- Provide technical guidance to users and stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation, reporting and system records.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on upgrades, migrations and installations.
Technical Requirements
- Ideally, 4+ years relevant experience.
- Strong ICT knowledge across email, messaging, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP and DNS.
- Desktop and network support, administration or related technical roles.
- Understanding of Windows, Linux and macOS environments, as well as mobile operating systems.
- Knowledge of network security principles, hardware and monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft certifications or CompTIA Security+ advantageous.
- Preferably Afrikaans speaking and/or an understanding of Afrikaans.

Salary
The proposed salary for the role is R20k - R30k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
