About the position

Our client based in Irene, is looking for a Support Analyst with SQL and MS Office skills to join their IT Team.
Education and Experience:

• School : Grade 12
• Post School : Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/Management
• Technical Expertise : MS SQL
• MS Office
• Experience : Minimum 5 years
• Other : Valid Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s License

Work Environment:

• The work environment characteristics are those encountered in a typical office with an IT environment, driving a light motor vehicle on public roads as well as in the open at Toll Plaza’s.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of systems for pro-active system support
• Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
• Test and analyse software applications/programs (propriety/third party)
• System support and troubleshoot/problem resolution
• Consult and coordinate with on-site technical resources to resolve issues and problems
• Documentation and reporting
• Operational support
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
