About the position
Are you passionate about keeping retail operations running seamlessly? We’re looking for a proactive Supply Chain Support Consultant to play a key role in optimizing logistics, inventory, and distribution processes. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day supply chain functions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure products move efficiently from supplier to shelf. If you thrive in fast-paced retail environments, have an eye for detail, and love problem-solving, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and business success
Responsibilities:
- Analyse, design and implement improved internal processes and systems
- Partake in multi-disciplined projects with clients for broader supply chain improvement
- Managing client-specific projects end to end
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics
- At least 4 years related experience
- Valid Driver’s License with own transport
- Travel to operational sites/hubs when required
- Experience in a logistics or retail environment
- Experience in a project environment
- Experience in business process re-engineering
- Experience in supply chain management
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
- Advanced MS Office Skills, particularly Excel, Word and Visio
General Requirements:
- Analytical process and systems thinking essential
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Self-starter willing to show initiative and approach tasks with a “hands-on” attitude
- Ability to thrive under pressure and deadlines
- Ability to function within various teams and environments, but also work independently
