About the position

Supply Chain Specialist - Centurion. FMCG Manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Tertiary Qualification
• 3+ years' experience (procurement, forecasting, logistics and production planning) with excellent MS Excel and ERP software skills.

Overview of duties

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure production plans align with customer order requirements, stock levels and capacity constraints.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules in real time to address disruptions such as equipment downtime or material shortages.
• Demand forecasting i.e. raw material, packaging material and consumables by analyzing order history, market trends and seasonality to build data-driven forecasts.
• Manage and process purchase orders, supplier communications, and internal procurement workflows.
• Coordinate incoming stock, supplier lead times, delivery schedules, and warehouse updates.
• Negotiate quotes, terms, and pricing to balance cost, speed, and quality.
• Maintain clean, auditable procurement records and resolve supplier issues proactively.
• Support the logistics chain from green coffee and packaging to spare parts and consumables.
• Collaborate daily with production, finance, and warehouse teams to keep operations flowing smoothly.

Salary Bracket
R30 000 to R45 000 per month CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
