Position: Supply Chain Principal Director
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Principal Director to join our dynamic team in the products and consumer goods industry. As the Supply Chain Principal Director, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and superior customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the seamless flow of products from manufacturing to distribution and ultimately reaching the end consumer.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams, to enhance collaboration and streamline communication throughout the supply chain.
- Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability to meet demand fluctuations.
- Logistics Optimization: Oversee transportation, distribution, and logistics functions to maximize efficiency and minimize lead times, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement proactive measures to mitigate disruptions, ensuring business continuity.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, reduce costs, and increase overall operational efficiency.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the supply chain operations, making data-driven decisions for ongoing improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (12+ years) in supply chain management within the products and consumer goods industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
