Are you a seasoned supply chain leader ready to drive strategic operations in a dynamic FMCG environment?
We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Executive to join a leading player in the FMCG sector. In this role, you'll oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including transport, warehouse management, procurement, demand planning, and logistics strategy. Your leadership will ensure the seamless integration of systems, people, and processes to deliver operational excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, SOPs, and supply chain best practices.
- Lead supply chain optimisation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee department budgets, drive cost savings and financial performance analysis.
Logistics & Transport
- Manage dispatch, transport quality, fleet, and distribution timelines.
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and environmental standards.
- Monitor financial performance across depots and implement efficiency improvements.
Warehouse & Inventory
- Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy and capacity management.
- Lead technology integration to improve warehouse productivity and traceability.
- Promote health, safety, and environmental compliance within warehouse functions.
Procurement & Demand Planning
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes and build strong supplier relationships.
- Lead demand planning and forecasting using data-driven tools and insights.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and finance to align supply with business objectives.
Customer Centricity & Risk
- Proactively manage service levels, customer expectations, and supply chain risk.
- Lead relationship management across internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, labour, and environmental standards.
Team Management
- Inspire, mentor and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
- Set performance KPIs and lead talent development across all levels.
- Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant discipline (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior supply chain or logistics leadership role
- FMCG experience
- Proven track record in fleet management, inventory optimisation, and strategic procurement.
- ERP experience (SAGE Evolution preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Office and strong analytical capability.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
