About the position
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Executive who can take ownership of the full supply chain journey from procurement and manufacturing right through to warehousing, dispatch and delivery.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who loves strategy, numbers, people and getting things done. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director and CEO while leading a team across Procurement, Production, Industrial Engineering and Dispatch.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and optimise the end-to-end supply chain, driving better cost, service, quality, efficiency and reliability.
- Lead the S&OP process, bringing together demand forecasting, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory and finance.
- Take ownership of OTIF, stock accuracy, inventory investment and Cost of Sales.
- Drive manufacturing performance, including capacity, throughput, efficiency, yield, scheduling and bottleneck removal.
- Manage inbound and outbound transportation strategy, budgets and optimisation.
- Build a supply chain that is ready for growth, new products, new channels and new geographies.
- Review and optimise the manufacturing and warehouse network to balance cost and service.
- Build strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers, customers and 3PL partners.
- Identify supply chain risks and build greater agility, resilience and business continuity.
- Lead, develop and hold accountable the Procurement Manager, Production Manager, Industrial Engineer and Dispatch Manager.
- Ensure supply chain operations meet safety, quality and food safety standards.
- Use data, systems and root-cause analysis to continuously improve performance.
Requirements - A degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Science or a related field.
- 8–10+ years' senior supply chain or logistics leadership experience.
- Strong experience in FMCG, food or manufacturing.
- Proven ownership of an end-to-end supply chain, including manufacturing planning and plant performance.
- Hands-on experience leading a full S&OP process across demand, supply, manufacturing and finance.
- Strong understanding of OTIF, inventory, stock integrity, Cost of Sales and transport costs.
- Experience managing multi-site warehousing and 3PL relationships.
- Strong ERP experience.
- Experience with network design, capacity planning or supply chain footprint optimisation.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across procurement, production, engineering and logistics.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the confidence to work with senior executives, suppliers and customers.
