Our client, market leader in the Supply Chain sector is seeking a Supply Chain Director, based in Durban
The successful candidate will report to the CEO
Purpose of the role:
- To drive the achievement of the Business's Supply Chain strategies
- To direct the overall Supply Chain Intelligence function including supply chain strategy, supply chain optimization, data analytics, business intelligence and innovation
- To direct the Supply Chain Planning and Coordination function including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and International Planning (imports and exports facilitation)

Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Appropriateundergraduate Degree or equivalent Tertiary qualification
- Min 15 years' experience with 5 years at Senior Management / Executive level within the FMCG / Supply Chain sector - including planning and distribution functions
- Experience in client and stakeholder engagement and Supply Chain Strategy advantageous
Knowledge:
- Supply Chain principles, practices, and tools
- Demand and Supply Planning principles and tools
- Warehouse and Transport network optimisation principles
- Multiple key performance indicators, inter-relationships, and bottom-line sensitivity
- Statistical modelling
- Information Technology applications, standards and principles, methodologies, and procedures
- Industry standards and statutory and regulatory requirements associated with SHEQ
