Supply and Distribution Coordinator (Warehouse)

About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply & Distribution Coordinator (Warehouse) to join our clients team on the East Rand.
Role purpose 
This is a senior operational role responsible for warehouse control, logistics coordination, procurement, inventory management, and shipping.

Minimum Requirements
?? 12+ years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, procurement, inventory control, and shipping
?? Intermediate ERP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps desirable)
?? Valid forklift license (mandatory)
?? Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
?? Solid knowledge of inventory systems and supply chain processes


Key Duties
Warehouse Management & Control

• Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, and issuing of goods in Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps
• Ensure accurate stock control and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
• Register and manage Non-Conformance documentation in line with Quality Assurance standards

Logistics Coordination

• Manage packing and dispatch of outgoing goods
• Support customers and brokers with SARS customs-related queries, working closely with shipping and finance teams

Procurement

• Source spare parts locally and internationally
• Identify and onboard new vendors to drive cost efficiency and improved lead times
• Expedite orders, monitor overdue purchase orders, and manage supplier performance
• Apply Lean Manufacturing Principles to procurement and inventory

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory records
• Track batch/serial-controlled items in collaboration with Head Office
• Lead cycle counts and participate in annual stock take
• Monitor and report on inventory KPIs
