LifeWise seeks to employ a supervisor: Sales Administration and Customer Care to (1) supervise the activities of the Customer Care team to provide high-quality service to stakeholders, (2) perform Sales Administration and Sales Support functions to the field sales teams to achieve new business targets, and (3) respond effectively to social media and website communications on behalf of the company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that compliments are responded to, and complaints resolved, in line with company policy, procedures and service standards.
  • Calculating monthly commission and bridging allowance for Independent Contractors (ICs), and the sales teams qualifying for uniform and awards, and issuing the applicable items.
  • Ensuring the required IC onboarding and termination, including updating the IC register and files.
  • Coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the Sales Activity Plan, and working with Sales Support staff with the aim of securing sales appointments and sales events for the sales teams, and tracking the rate of success of appointments and events attended.
  • Motor vehicle monitoring and reporting, including vehicle repairs, fines, licenses, inspection sheets and maintenance schedule.
  • Coordinating insurance claims, as well as vehicle procurement, wrapping and disposal.
  • Responding to communications received via digital, website and other electronic messaging platforms in line with policy, procedures and service standards.
  • Coordinating Family Insurance and LifeWise Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) administration.
  • Assisting with insurance claims administration for assets other than vehicles as required.
  • Coordinating marketing and company document administration and recording keeping.
  • Monitoring and promoting sound business practices in accordance with relevant legislation.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Applicable business degree or diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferably in sales administration and/or customer care (insurance industry experience advantageous).
  • Experience of supervising a team of people in a service-oriented environment, with the aim of providing excellent customer service.

Skills and competencies required:

  • Must be computer literate with expert knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Numeracy and ability to perform complex calculations accurately essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Methodical / systematic way of working essential.
  • Must have very strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills essential.
  • Must have strong customer services orientation.
  • Must have the ability to build rapport quickly with people.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across the business and with external stakeholders essential.
  • Must display a positive orientation and exceptional resilience.
  • The ability to work on a varied range of activities essential.
  • Communication experience on digital platforms will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision essential.

Other requirements:

  • Psychometric assessments will be a requirement.
  • Valid drivers' license.
  • Must relocate at own cost.
  • ITC/ Qualification/ Criminal checks will be a requirement.
