About the position
- Someone who has underwent an apprenticeship after completion of a minimum of N2 and has undertaken an exam and competently completed and obtained an artisan certificate (Red Seal).
- Experience must include at least 3 years of experience working on MV systems or higher (3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 33kV... etc.). Electricians must be ORHVS trained and accredited Responsible Persons.
- Understanding of operation & maintenance of Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) within the HV Transmission sector, i.e., high voltage and/or medium voltage substation electrical equipment and maintenance of light substation electrical works an advantage.
- An ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good technical report writing skills.
- Driver's License
